Biography
2022 KWPN Stallion | Chatinue × Arezzo VDL Dark Bay | Stable Name: Marmite Silvio G is an exciting young KWPN stallion with an exceptional showjumping pedigree and an increasingly promising record in the young horse classes. By the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Chatinue, Silvio carries the hugely influential blood of Chacco-Blue. Chatinue himself competed internationally at 1.60m level and comes from the outstanding mare Georgia, making him a maternal half-brother to both Balou du Rouet and 1.70m performer Balou du Reventon. Silvio's dam, Nola Price G, is by the internationally successful Grand Prix stallion Arezzo VDL, combining the blood of Chin Chin and Heartbreaker. The strength of Silvio's maternal family is already proven in sport: Nola Price G is the full sister of Fire Fly, the 1.45m KWPN mare who became the 2022 USHJA Six-Year-Old Young Jumper Champion before progressing to win multiple Grand Prix classes in the United States. Further performance horses sit close within the dam line, including 1.30m performers Jedi G and Michelangelo G, giving Silvio a pedigree backed by genuine jumping results on both sides. Silvio has deliberately been produced slowly and sympathetically, with his long-term development prioritised over rushing him as a young horse. Despite having only a limited number of shows behind him, he has continued to gain confidence and experience with every outing. At the 2026 Arena UK Festival, Silvio contested the prestigious 4-Year-Old Grand Prix. Across two rounds he showed his quality and potential, with only a few green moments affecting his scores. He nevertheless finished an impressive 4th overall, a fantastic achievement for such an inexperienced young stallion. Still only four years old, Silvio remains at the very beginning of his career. His combination of natural jumping ability, careful production and a pedigree containing proven 1.45m–1.70m performers makes him an incredibly exciting horse for the future. We are extremely proud of the horse he is becoming and look forward to continuing his development as he progresses through the young horse ranks.
